There are all kinds and sizes of pollutants in the air. Most air filters do not discriminate though, they take them out as long as the pollutants are within their size range. The thing is that not all of them have the same size ranges. Even pollutants as little as 0.3 microns can be caught in an air filter. There are however few that can work that well. The best are your HEPA air filters. Perhaps you want to have those installed. Eh? Some automobiles use air cooling and air lubrication in their engines to keep them functioning optimally. When you have to use that amount of air with any device, you cannot do so in the raw state that it is in; you need for the air to be cleansed. And so, automobiles also need and use air filters extensively. You don’t want to rush out to buy an air filter when you don’t know a lot about them. You have breathed bad air for a couple of decades already, the extra two days while you research and understand air filters is will not kill you just yet. When your air filters are overworked, they don’t function so well. Soon, particles start getting through them that should have been trapped because the filters are clogged with them. To prevent that from happening, you should have them checked from time to time. And if you deem it necessary, you should have them changed too.
